_ QC in its present form was introduced by Dr. Ishikawa
 

 

Quality Circle:
_ Group of people
_ Consist 6-12 members
_ From same organizational area
_ Who meet regularly
_ Meet for approximately one hour in a week
_ With the objective of identifying and solving problems within their working area
_ Lead by a supervisor or a senior.
 

 

Objectives:
_ Improve human relations and work morale
_ Promote participative culture
_ Enhance job interest
_ To make team work more effective
_ To reduce defect and improve quality 

_ Increase productivity
_ Improve communication
_ To promote self- discipline, self-motivation etc.
